The 23-year-old Indian left-arm chinaman Kuldeep Yadav has bowled impressively in the recent cricket, including the ongoing UK tour. The wrist-spinner has threatened all kind of opponent batsmen consistently and the batsmen have felt very hard to succeed against him.
Former English left-arm orthodox bowler Phil Tufnell has also impressed on Kuldeep Yadav very much and feels happy after seeing him in the full-member Test squad.

After completion of the limited-overs series, India will now busy to play five-match Test series against the hosts England, starting from August 1. In the 18-member Indian squad for the first three Test matches, Kuldeep Yadav has earned a spot for his recent impressive performances.
Tufnell believes Kuldeep is a rare bowler, as he quoted, “You don’t come across too many left-arm wrist spinners. There are a few leg spinners around across all formats. Kuldeep is a rare bowler. When you come across his type of bowling, you need to really work it out because it is something you haven’t seen before. It is a special thing, and a rarity really.”

Tufnell feels happy after seeing that Kuldeep hasn’t been sent back in India after completion of the limited-overs series, rather he has been included in the Test squad. While Indian team has three specialist spinners in the Test squad (Kuldeep Yadav, Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja), Tufnell believes India can field all the three spinners in the playing XI during the English tour if the conditions favour.
Tufnell said, “I would definitely play him. It’s a good thing India haven’t sent Kuldeep home. Just look at the weather we have had. I think it is set to be similarly fair for the next month or so. So you never know India might even play three spinners depending on pitches and their combinations.

“India have three world-class spinners in their Test squad, but I would definitely think of Kuldeep. I would want him hanging close around the English batsmen.”
