Indian skipper Virat Kohli and his men registered an emphatic victory in the third and the final Test against South Africa at the Wanderers in Johannesburg. Team India went out to celebrate their sensational win in style.
It was one of the most difficult pitches for a batsman to bat on in recent times and Indian batsmen showed some real grit to fight it out in conditions which were favorable to the South Africans with pace, uneven bounce and a lot of lateral movement as well.

Shastri termed India’s victory at the Wanderers one of the country’s finest overseas victories. He tweeted, “It’s right up there with the best. Look at the conditions, the wicket, and what we were up against. Many laughed at us when we elected to bat on a green pitch. But we had our reasons. Then the way we fought. We played like the No. 1 team in the world.”
