On Tuesday (July 7), former Indian skipper, MS Dhoni celebrated his 39th birthday. A plethora of cricketers came forward in wishing the Indian stalwart on his special day through social media. The veteran cricketer celebrated his birthday in a private ceremony with his family and friend in his farmhouse at Ranchi.
Since Dhoni hasn’t been active on social media, the fans failed to witness much of the celebrations of Captain Cool’s birthday. Surprisingly, Hardik Pandya and Krunal Pandya flew down to Dhoni’s hometown, Ranchi in a chartered plane on latter’s birthday. Now, after a few days of Mahi’s birthday, a few pictures of the party have surfaced on social media. In some of the pictures, MS can be seen sharing the cake with one of his friends.

Dhoni can be seen sporting an olive green t-shirt along with black track pants. Notably, the former Indian skipper is looking quite different from his usual look which went viral on social media a few days back.

On the occasion of his birthday, none of the video of the celebrations of Dhoni;s birthday were seen on social media as he recently was seen waving back to the fans who visited his house that day. Though he didn’t meet them personally, he waved to them while riding his bike.

Dhoni has never liked to hog the limelight, especially, ever since he played his last international match for India during the semi-final of World Cup 2019 against New Zealand. After that, Dhoni has been on a sabbatical from competitive cricket he left the series against West Indies, Bangladesh, Australia, and New Zealand.

However, Dhoni hasn’t taken retirement from International cricket. This means that he remains to be in contention to make his return to the Indian cricket team. Amid all the rumors making rounds regarding his retirement, his manager Mihir Diwakar had recently confirmed that the Ranchi-born gloveman is not at all thinking about the retirement.
