Sachin Tendulkar (Mumbai Indians)
The legendary Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar is the icon of Mumbai Indians (MI). While we observed his true passion for the nation during his international cricket career, we have seen his similar IPL passion for MI.
Playing for MI between 2008 and 2013, Sachin played 91 games for MI where he scored 2,599 runs with the average of 32.48. While he was the Orange Cap winner as well as the Player of the Tournament trophy winner in IPL 2010, his team won the IPL 2013 trophy and 2013 Champions League T20 (not featured in 2011 CL T20).
After his retirement from the game, Sachin has remained with the side as the icon. In this another long stint, MI won 2015 and 2017 IPL trophies. Sachin is currently the batting mentor of the side.
