Currently, one of the most loved Indian Premier League (IPL)  franchises Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) is locking horns with the last year’s runners-up Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the iconic Eden Gardens in Kolkata. After winning the toss, the KKR skipper, Dinesh Karthik decided to bowl first. Hence, the SRH opened their innings with David Warner and Jonny Bairstow.

During the toss, Karthik revealed foreign players in the squad as Sunil Narine, Chris Lynn, Andre Russell, and Lockie Ferguson were playing. On the other hand, SRH decided to go with Warner, Bairstow, Shakib Al Hasan, and Rashid Khan. They had a decent start as none of the KKR bowlers were looking in complete control of the game. But Jonny faced a huge blow in the first over of the match itself.

On the penultimate ball of the over, Prasidh Krishna bowled a beamer to Bairstow, who Faced his first ball in and he had to duck for cover. Soon after that ball, Prasidh receives the first warning and Bairstow got a free-hit, but he faced another blow on the padding box.

Krishna did a decent job on the free-hit delivery as he provided zero room for Bairstow, who attempted a ferocious hit, but missed the line of the ball and it resulted in the ball giving him some serious pain between his thighs. Later on, he got to know that his abdominal guard was broken which had to be replaced immediately. In the end, he only managed to take a single on that delivery. In the commentary box, Michael Clarke was heard saying that Thank God Bairstow was wearing the guard where required.

Here is the video of the two fiery deliveries from Krishna:
