Lucknow Super Giants’ young pacer Prince Yadav has emerged as one of the standout performers for the franchise in IPL 2026. The 24-year-old fast bowler from Delhi has impressed with his consistency, control, and wicket-taking ability throughout the season. In nine matches so far, Prince has claimed 13 wickets and currently leads the wicket charts for LSG this year.

His impressive performances have already sparked conversations about a potential India call-up in the near future. Amid growing attention around his rise, Prince recently revealed his biggest cricketing dream — to represent India in the 2027 ODI World Cup alongside Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma.

In a video shared by Lucknow Super Giants on X, the young pacer opened up about his ambition and explained why the 2027 World Cup holds special importance for him. “Mera abhi toh vo hai ki mai Virat aur Rohit Bhaiya ke saath 2027 wala World Cup khel saku, aur vo hum jeete. Unke paas lagbhag saari trophies hai. Sirf ek 50-over World Cup abhi thoda sa nahi hai.”

“Toh mai chahunga ki India 2027 ka World Cup jeete aur mai part rahu uss team ka. Aur woh hum jeete toh unke liye bahut achi cheej hogi,” Prince Yadav said.

The youngster believes Kohli and Rohit have achieved almost everything in international cricket, and helping them win an ODI World Cup would be a special moment for Indian cricket.

Prince made his IPL debut for LSG in 2025 and has steadily developed into a dependable pace option. Across 15 IPL matches, he has already taken 16 wickets and earned praise for his disciplined line and length. His economical spells and ability to perform under pressure have made him one of the most promising emerging Indian pacers in IPL 2026.
