Just last month, Shaw posted pictures from his trip to Nusa Penida Island in Indonesia, where Agarwal commented, “My perfect view.” Shaw’s playful reply, “Ayyyy you,” instantly caught the attention of fans, fueling chatter about their bond.

With over 3.3 million Instagram followers and nearly 90,000 YouTube subscribers, Agarwal enjoys a massive digital presence, making every interaction between the two a talking point. They have also been spotted together on multiple occasions in Mumbai.

While his personal life has been making headlines, Shaw’s professional career is going through a crucial phase. Earlier this year, the right-handed opener made the switch from Mumbai to Maharashtra in domestic cricket.

He announced his arrival in style, smashing a century on debut during the Buchi Babu Trophy 2025 against Chhattisgarh in Chennai. On a turning track that troubled most batters, Shaw played with his trademark aggression to notch up a commanding ton.

However, Shaw faced disappointment in the IPL 2025 mega-auction held in Jeddah, where he went unsold. Many fans hoped he might get a lifeline as a replacement signing, but that opportunity never arrived, leaving him to watch the tournament from the sidelines.

Shaw, who last played for India in July 2021, has represented the country in five Tests, six ODIs, and one T20I. With his move to Maharashtra, he will be eager to pile up runs this season, hoping consistent domestic performances reignite his path back into the Indian team.
