Prithvi Shaw, the young Indian batsman, failed the yo-yo test ahead of the forthcoming edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), which begins on March 26. It will not, however, prevent him from playing for the Delhi Capitals in the lucrative league. He was one of the players that attended the BCCI camp for cricketers to examine their injuries and fitness.

Shaw is not currently on the central contract, but he was summoned to the NCA to provide an update on his health. The fact that he failed the test indicates that the results are unsatisfactory. The yo-yo test requires a score of 16 to pass, and it is expected that the Mumbai opener will achieve a score of 15.

Nonetheless, the fans of the Indian cricket team were absolutely annoyed by the fact that an athlete as young as Shaw was unable to clear the Yo-Yo test while older players like Hardik Pandya, who’s recovering from a long-term lower-back injury, cleared it with flying colours.

As the world and media give opinions about Shaw, with the social mediua and internet full of news around Shaw, the youngster replied and warned the people about Karma. Prithvi Shaw uploaded an Instagram story in which he wrote, “Please don’t judge me when you don’t know my situation. You are creating your own Karma”.

By this story, we can clearly judge the amount of frustation built in Shaw. He’s clearly asking each and everyone out in the world to not judge him before knowing the full facts.

A BCCI source informed The Indian Express that the update was merely fitness-related. Obviously, this does not prevent Prithvi from participating in the IPL for the Delhi Capitals. It’s only a fitness metric; it’s not the be-all and end-all.

The 22-year old was a member of the Mumbai team that competed in the Ranji Trophy recently. He appeared in three straight games but failed to make an impression, scoring only 107 runs in four innings at a 26.75 average. Shaw’s fitness difficulties, according to the source, may have flared up as a result of tiredness from playing red-ball matches in the domestic circuit.
