The fans’ keenness to take selfies with the young Indian opener, Prithvi Shaw turned into a physical assault in Mumbai. Prithvi Shaw obliged the fans and agreed to a selfie with them. The selfie-hungry fans wanted to click a picture with the cricketer once again. Shaw’s refusal for another click led to a clash and the fans attacked the cricketer’s friend’s car. A case has been registered in Mumbai following the altercation.

Even though he isn’t a regular member of the Indian team, Prithvi is one of the most-followed cricketers. He shot to the limelight back in 2013 and was hailed as the next Sachin Tendulkar of modern-day cricket.
