Puma Has Shipped New Gears For Ryan Burl And His Mates After His Heartfelt Appeal

Famous sports gear outlet Puma was in the news after they heard Zimbabwean cricketer Ryan Burl’s heartfelt appeal of getting a sponsorship deal. Puma took no time in saying yes to sponsor the cricketer. Now, they have shipped gears for Burl and his teammates as revealed by Puma’s latest tweet.

Zimbabwe cricketer Ryan Burl has recently shared a heartfelt post on social media where he urged for a sponsor to the popular sports gear giant Puma. However, they have extended their support to the Zimbabwean batsman where they have vowed to sponsor the Zimbabwe cricketer after his post about worn-out shoes went viral in no times on social media.

After that, several cricketers appreciated this gesture by Puma and praised them on Twitter. Former Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh applauded Puma for their incredible gesture along with Yuvraj Singh and many others.

Harbhajan Singh, however, took to Twitter and praised Puma Cricket for helping the Zimbabwe international cricketer. “Always there for the players Puma well done,” Harbhajan wrote in his tweet.

Yuvraj wrote, “Now that’s what Puma stands for. Proud of you team.”

To which, Burl replied, “Thank You so much Yuvraj. Awesome to join a brand which you have been with for so long. Very inspirational.”

Ryan Burl had earlier revealed that he had to glue his pair of shoes after every series. And, his tweet soon became viral as fans and followers of the game have extended their support by retweeting and mentioning his ordeal on Twitter as well. Burl, a batting all-rounder of Zimbabwe has played as many as 46 internationals for the national cricket team as well.

The 27-year-old player has amassed over 500 runs across all formats and he has also bagged 26 wickets with his spin bowling so far as well. However, Zimbabwe were recently outclassed by Babar Azam-led Pakistan in a five-match series and Pakistan had beat Zimbabwe by an innings in the two-match Test series as well. On the other hand, Zimbabwe are all set to play against Ireland in a limited-overs series in August.
