Also, ICC decided to have a look on the pitch just before the second One-Day International match in Pune. Earlier this year, India-Australia played a Test match in Maharashtra Cricket Association in February, which ended in Australia’s favor within three days. Afterward, ICC rated that pitch as a poor. Thus, they decided to have a look on the 22-yard long strip before this match.
However, ICC has passed the pitch and the game will go as scheduled. New Zealand has come with a 1-0 lead in the three-match series, which made this game a knock out encounter for India.
