The veteran Indian cricketer, Cheteshwar Pujara is one of the crucial reasons behind the fact that Team India is on the verge of registering its first ever series win on the Australian soil. He has amassed as many as 521 runs in seven innings with as many as three centuries to his name and has faced a record 1258 deliveries during his stay at the crease. His patience has worked wonders for Team India and such kind of an attitude is hard to find in the T20 generation.

Even the Aussie captain Tim Paine also praised India’s number three and acknowledged that Pujara was the reason why the home team’s fast bowlers looked fatigued in the last Test match. In the process, he also ran himself out many time especially during the South Africa tour last year in January and to make things worse, he was dropped from the playing XI in the first Test against England to accommodate KL Rahul based on ‘current form’.
