The clip of Dravid’s interaction with the players quickly went viral on social media, showcasing a relaxed and positive atmosphere in the Indian camp. As the team prepares to take on New Zealand, they are keen to replicate their recent success from the Test series against Bangladesh, which they won convincingly 2-0.

The squad’s performance in that series, with victories in Chennai and Kanpur, demonstrated their growing confidence. Even in challenging conditions during the rain-affected second Test in Kanpur, India managed to clinch a hard-fought win, underscoring their resilience. India’s recent run of form has propelled them to the top of the World Test Championship (WTC) standings.

However, their journey to the WTC final is not secure just yet. To solidify their place, they need a clean sweep against New Zealand and at least one victory in the upcoming Border-Gavaskar series against Australia. Anything short of that could leave their qualification to chance, relying on other results to go in their favor. As the New Zealand series looms, Rohit Sharma’s men will be determined to start strong and build momentum for the battles ahead.
