On Sunday, Andrew Tye has left for Australia already, giving the reason of fear due to the surge of COVID-19 positive cases in India, making Rajasthan Royals the worst affected team in the tournament as well.

“The team is looking to loan players and has written to other franchisees but nothing is decided at this point,” a source close to the team management said to the PTI.

It is also noteworthy that, the IPL loan window has started on Monday and that will end with the conclusion of the league stage as well. Andre Tye, meanwhile, returned home on Sunday as he has been fearing to get locked out of his own country as India have reported plenty of COVID-19 cases on a daily basis. However, he hasn’t played a single game this season as well.
