One of the most notable claims came from former Pakistan cricketer Ramiz Raja, who alleged that Indian bowlers were using special balls provided by the ICC to swing them more effectively. Raja also made the outlandish assertion that legendary footballer Cristiano Ronaldo’s diet is planned by NASA scientists. These comments, captured on video, went viral on social media, with Raja facing widespread mockery.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has also undergone significant changes in recent months. Following Pakistan’s disappointing World Cup campaign, Babar Azam resigned as captain. Shan Masood has been named the new Test captain, while fast bowler Shaheen Afridi has taken over the T20I captaincy. However, the PCB is yet to announce the new captain for the ODI team.

In addition to the captaincy changes, the PCB has also made several other alterations to its management structure. Former fast bowler Wahab Riaz has been appointed as the Chief Selector, replacing Inzamam ul Haq, who resigned midway through the World Cup. Former Pakistan all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez has been named the Team Director of Pakistan Men’s Cricket Team.

Furthermore, the PCB has appointed cricketers Umar Gul and Saeed Ajmal as the bowling coaches of the Pakistan men’s side team. Gul has been appointed as the fast bowling coach, whereas Ajmal will be the spin bowling coach for the side.

With these changes in place, Pakistan will look to put behind their World Cup disappointment and put up a strong performance in the upcoming three-match Test series against Australia, starting from December 14th.
