One of the biggest cricket dates on the calendar has finally arrived as India and Pakistan will be locking horns with each other in the first international match since 2019 while it will also be the first T20I match between the two neighboring countries in more than five years. As the whole country awaited the big clash, Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh was boosting the morale of the Indian skipper, Virat Kohli.
Ranveer Singh has been an avid follower of the Indian team and has often been seen showing in cricket. In fact, in 2019, he had traveled all the way to Manchester to watch the India-Pakistan match at the 50 overs World Cup. As a matter of fact, he is also playing the role of Kapil Dev in his upcoming movie, 83, which is based on India’s World Cup triumph of 1983.

The latest highlight shown by Ranveer Singh happened when Kohli posted a picture wearing Team India’s latest jersey for the T20 World Cup 2021. Kohli was seen sporting the new look jersey in which he was pointing his finger towards the logo. He just added the flag of India as a caption. Upon uploading this picture, Ranveer posted a comment as he wrote, “Come on, boy! It’s OURS this time! let’s gooooooooo.”

As the day of the big match came around, former Indian cricketer, Mohammad Kaif shared his views and encourage people not to take the wrong step by spreading hate. He urged everyone to watch the match by keeping all the politics, hate, and arrogance aside. He also said people should be treating this contest as just a game and not war.
