The young Afghan leg-spinner Rashid Khan is enjoying the purple patch in his cricketing career. He recently bagged two consecutive Player of the Match awards against Bangladesh in the ongoing T20I series in Dehradun. Ahead of all the international commitments, Rashid had an exceptional run in the IPL 2018 for the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). He also went on to represent the World XI team in the one-off T20I against Windies at the iconic venue of Lord’s recently.
Although he did not have a great time in the game, he got the chance to play with his role model, Shahid Afridi. The former Pakistani captain led the World XI squad in the game, which was also his last international game. He got the guard of honor from the team in the match as well. As per the recent quotes in CricketSoccer, Khan was asked about how he felt to share the dressing room with Afridi.
