Gujarat Titans (GT) all-rounder, Rashid Khan reveals the name of his unique shot that has been very productive for him. He termed it as a “snake shot” in an interaction with his skipper Hardik Pandya. The Afghanistan lad failed to take a wicket on his bowling against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) but made up for it with a brilliant finish with the bat.

Rashid Khan played an unbeaten knock of 11-ball 31 with the help of four sixes and a handy partnership with Rahul Tewatia (40*) and they helped GT to get over the line. While chasing a daunting target of 196 runs, Gujarat required 22 runs in the final over to win and Marco Jansen was not an easy bowler by any means to go over the boundary ropes.

However, Rashid Khan got the better of him and hit two sixes off the last deliveries as well. The leg spinner had already played an important part in the win against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) alongside David Miller and he keeps improving in terms of his batting credentials.

Here is the video of the conversation between, Hardik Pandya, Rahul Tewatia, and Rashid Khan:

After winning the game for his team, Rashid Khan and Rahul Tewatia had an interaction with skipper, Hardik Pandya and the captain raised a few questions to the duo on their knocks so far in the tournament. Pandya mentioned to them in the video that he could not believe how they have been managing to finish off games time and again and enquired particularly about Rashid’s wristy shot as well.

Rashid Khan noted that he calls the shot the “Snake shot” to refer to how the snake bites in a spur of a moment. The trio was seen engaging in a fun chat and they looked all smiles after yet another win.

Rashid’s so-called “Snake shot” has been one of the most productive ones for him in the tournament so far as he tends to give it a whip with his strong wrists and uses the pace of the delivery at times to get the ball over the ropes. Meanwhile, with the win against SRH, Gujarat Titans have moved to the top of the points table with seven victories in eight matches and are looking strong to make it to the playoff stages at the moment.
