Former Pakistan player Shahid Afridi has recently blessed with a baby girl on Friday. This is his fifth daughter with wife Nadia. The former Pakistan captain shared the news with the world on his Twitter account and received wishes from across the cricketing world and his fans as well.
However, he is looking for a name for the newborn baby and he wants everyone to help him naming his kids with the tradition of starting with the letter ‘A’. His four other daughters are named Aqsa, Ansha, Ajwa, and Asmara. He had shared the image of the newest member of his family in a lovely photo that had him posing with the baby in his hands along with his four daughters.
“The Almighty’s infinite blessings & mercy are upon me…already having been granted 4 wonderful daughters I have now been blessed with a 5th, Alhamdulillah. Sharing this good news with my well-wishers…” posted Afridi on Twitter.

Afridi later tweeted, “This one’s for my fans: As you can see there’s a trend of my daughter’s names beginning with the letter ‘A’. Send me your recommendations for our new arrival with ‘A’….the winning name I select gets a prize! Keep the names rolling!”

Afridi, who called it quits to international cricket in 2018, is currently playing in various T20 leagues around the world and has also played in T10 leagues in the middle east as well. He has also authored his autobiography titled ‘Game Changer’, where he revealed many secrets of the Pakistani dressing room and also spoke about the controversy in his time.
He will be featured in the Pakistan Super League 2020 season which will be, for the very first time ever, played in Pakistan. He will play for Multan Sultans, who will be led by Shan Masood.
