Rashid has once again proved his mettle with a brilliant spell in the ongoing season of the Big Bash League (BBL).
Rashid Khan took 6 wickets while playing for the Adelaide Strikers in the 46th match of the BBL 2021-22. He wreaked havoc against Brisbane Heat and took 6 wickets and conceded just 17 runs in his brilliant spell of 4 overs. AS a result, Adelaide Strikers registered a comfortable 71-run win over Brisbane Heat.

It was the last match for Rashid Khan in the ongoing BBL season and he delivered an unforgettable performance in the match. Interestingly, he had a very poor start in this match. His first ball was hit for a four and in the very first over, this leg-spinner gave 11 runs.
However, in the next 3 overs, Rashid Khan managed to scalp as many as 6 wickets for just 6 runs and Brisbane Heat got bundled out for just 90 runs. He was given the bowling after the powerplay and he got the first ball and four. After this, he also got a four on the fourth ball and 11 runs went in his first over.

After his first over, Rashid Khan came to bowl in the second over and dominated the entire match. Rashid Khan dismissed Hejlett on the second ball and on the next ball he also took the wicket of Jack Lehmann. However, Rashid Khan could not take a hat-trick.

Rashid Khan was removed from the attack and he made a comeback in the 13th over. He got his 3rd wicket by dismissing Will Prestwijk on the third ball. After this, Rashid took 3 wickets in his last over. Khan also got the wicket of Kuhenman on the second ball. On the third ball, he completed his five wickets by dismissing Mujeeb. He also took the wicket of Guthrie on the last ball of his fourth over.
