Klaasen’s positive stance at the crease hinted at another potential game-changing innings, reminiscent of his recent performances. However, Rashid Khan had different plans. With a crafty googly, he bamboozled Klaasen, who misread the delivery, attempting an ambitious pull shot. The ball, skidding on, crashed into the leg stump, sending Klaasen packing and eliciting jubilation from Rashid Khan.

The dismissal was a significant blow for SRH, as Klaasen had been dominating with a striking strike rate of around 185. Despite scoring 24 runs off 13 balls, including a boundary and two sixes, his departure shifted momentum. Rashid Khan, recuperating from injury, showcased his resurgence by curbing SRH’s dangerous batting line-up.
