Seizing a playful moment, Rashid decided to prank his fellow Afghanistan teammate, Noor Ahmad, who was catching up on sleep during the flight. With a mischievous grin, Rashid gently used his bracelet to stir Noor from his slumber, prompting laughter from both players.
The light-hearted incident, captured on video and shared by the franchise on Instagram, showcased the camaraderie between the two players. In the video, Rashid jokingly remarked, “Hum khelne ke liye aaye hain, yeh sone ke liye aaya hai [We have come to play, he has come to sleep],” eliciting a smile from Noor before he resumed his rest, covering his face with a cloth.

As key components of the Gujarat Titans’ bowling lineup, Rashid Khan and Noor Ahmad bring a formidable presence to the team. Rashid, a seasoned campaigner in the IPL since 2017, initially represented the Sunrisers Hyderabad before joining the Gujarat Titans in 2022.

With an impressive track record of 147 wickets in 117 matches, Rashid’s consistent performances have been instrumental for his team, including a standout season last year where he claimed 27 wickets. Despite his relative lack of experience, the Afghan youngster has made a promising start in the ongoing season, already notching up five wickets in six matches.
