Lucknow Super Giants assistant coach Lance Klusener feels that talented spinner Ravi Bishnoi is going from strength to strength after a slow start in IPL 2025 as well. And, Bishnoi was expected to be the lead spinner for LSG this season after being one of the players who was retained as well. However, Bishnoi struggled for control initially but has come into form and now he has claimed 8 wickets in 7 matches.

Speaking to reporters ahead of the RR game, Klusener said, “I think he’s been going from strength to strength, especially to his own high standards. He probably had a bit of a slow start, but as the tournament has progressed, he’s only gotten better. I thought he played a good hand in the last game too. And with Markram bowling four overs of spin, I thought he bowled extremely well. It’s not always easy to get everyone’s quota in, especially when you’re bowling 11 overs of spin. But overall, Ravi is just getting better and better. He’s back in his home state and hometown, and we’re looking forward to another strong performance from him,” said Klusener.

Speaking about the RR game, Lance Klusener also said that LSG won’t be underestimating their opponents despite losing 5 matches out of 7 as well. Klusener also said that he doesn’t believe in past results and he expects it to be a 50-50 contest in Jaipur as well.

“I don’t think it’s easy for anyone. Tomorrow is a new day and a new game. If I’m not mistaken, this is your second home game, and you’ve always played well at home. So, it’s definitely going to be a tough game. I don’t believe in history or past results – every game brings its own challenges. It’s 50-50 tomorrow,” Lance Klusener concluded.
