Team India is well on the verge of 3-0 whitewash in the ongoing Freedom Trophy 2019 against South Africa. Owing to the 212 from Rohit Sharma, 115 from Ajinkya Rahane and 51 from Ravindra Jadeja, the hosts put on a formidable 497/9 and declared their first innings with a lot of time in hands. Meanwhile, George Linde, the debutant picked four wickets being the most successful bowler for Proteas.

During all this brouhaha, the Indian coach Ravi Shastri, who is quite a laid-back character, was found taking a nap in the dressing room. Shastri who is known for his simple attitude towards life of enjoying it to the full was happily napping away, as Umesh Yadav and Shami wreaked havoc in the second innings as well. Shami scalped three wickets and sent Dean Elgar to the hospital with a concussion, while Yadav added two more wickets in the innings.

The netizens took the opportunity and trolled Shastri for being asleep on the job, despite being paid INR 10 crores annually as the head coach. The effect became much more amazing as youngster Shubman Gill was captured in the same photo looking puzzled with the proceedings.

Meanwhile, Rohit was the pick f teh batsmen as he amassed more than 500 runs in the series, while Mayank Agarwal and Virat Kohli also scored double centuries in the series. There were important contributions from Ravindra Jadeja, Ajinkya Rahane and even Umesh Yadav with the bat.
