The Indian all-rounder, Ravindra Jadeja said he has increased confidence in his game after having returned from a knee injury that kept him out of action for more than 4 months. Jadeja missed the T20 World Cup and the start of the home season for India in 2022-23 but he stormed back to action in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2023.
Ravindra Jadeja showed no hurry in making a comeback from the injury and returned to action for Saurashtra in a Ranji Trophy match in Chennai ahead of the Test series against Australia. Jadeja shined in the Test series, picking up 22 wickets, including a couple of 5-wicket hauls in the 4-match series that India won 2-1. Jadeja also chipped in with the bat, scoring 135 runs, including a fifty, as he lent solidity to the lower-middle order.

It was Jadeja’s unbeaten 45 and a match-winning stand with KL Rahul that helped India recover from early setbacks and chase down a tricky 189-run target in the first ODI of the 3-match series against Australia in Mumbai.
Speaking to the broadcasters ahead of the 3rd ODI in Chennai, Ravindra Jadeja said, “I am feeling good, confident and I will look to continue to do well for longer period of time. I have been working hard in NCA on my skills, I knew at some stage it would pay off and happy with my performance, don’t like to take anything for granted.”

Meanwhile, Ravindra Jadeja said India’s 10-wicket loss in the 2nd ODI in Vizag on Sunday has not brought down the morale of the dressing room. India was bundled out for just 117, and the Australian openers Mitchell Marsh and Travis Head gunned down the total in just 11 overs, handing India their biggest defeat in terms of balls remaining in ODI cricket.
Describing the same, Ravindra Jadeja “Nothing, nothing, as such because everybody is happy. The environment is positive. We are looking forward to this game. No negativity and nothing. Hopefully, we will come good. Everybody knows their roles and we will do well.”
