The India captain, Virat Kohli is not only the best batsman in the world but in recent times, he has also aced the art of trolling his teammates and other cricketers on social media. From Yuzvendra Chahal, David Warner to Kevin Pietersen, nobody has been able to get one up on Kohli. And Ravindra Jadeja is the latest in the long list to get trolled by Kohli after the all-rounder made an attempt to take a dig at his captain over his eagerness to use the Decision Review System.

Both Kohli and Jadeja are the best at what they do on the field but they have often been seen failing to make rights DRS calls. Jadeja somehow manages to convince Virat to take the review quite frequently off his bowling but more often than not, they both get it wrong.

But the southpaw left-arm spinner claims it’s his captain who is the more eager of the two when it comes to going for the review. Captioning the picture of him with Kohli on Instagram, Jadeja wrote: “Dekho bhai meine nai bola hai review lene ko (I didn’t ask you to take the review)”.

Kohli was quick to reply to the post and trolled Jadeja instead of having doubts after asking his captain to take the review.

“Tujhe toh hamesha out hi lagta hai. Review lene ke baad sab doubts aate hain tujhe (You always think it is out. But you start having doubts after asking for the review),” Kohli hit back at Jadeja.

Kohli’s success rate with the DRS as a batsman, however, is not something he can boast about. For 2 years, between November (2017) and October (2019), Virat made all wrong DRS calls as a batsman.

His unfortunate streak saw him lose 9 DRS calls on the trot in Test cricket. He has a success rate of 8.3% when it comes to using the DRS, which is the worst among the 34 batsmen with five or more reviews – barring Usman Khawaja.
