During that innings, Jadeja also had a furious 204-run partnership with Rishabh Pant for the seventh wicket that helped the visiting side to post a mammoth first innings total of 622/7 before their declaration. Later, he took two wickets (2/73) during Australia’s first innings of that Test match.

In overall, Jadeja had very good performances during the Test series.

That Test series was a historic Test series for the visiting side India as they won the four-match Test series by 2-1 and it was their first ever Test series victory in Australia. In fact, India is the first Asian side to win a Test series in Australia. Virat Kohli-led Indian side is now preparing for the three-match ODI series in this tour that will begin on 12 January.
