Chennai Super Kings (CSK) are locking horns with Mumbai Indians (MI) in the 33rd match of the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai. Rohit Sharma and Co didn’t seem to find the path to success whereas it has been the same case with Ravindra Jadeja and his men as well. MS Dhoni handed over the captaincy duties to Jadeja just days ahead of the start of IPL 2022. Nonetheless, things haven’t really gone well for the defending champions as everything is in a mess at the moment.

Both CSK and MI find themselves in a complicated situation. They have to win the remaining matches from here on in order to be in the fight for the playoffs. CSK won the toss and opted to bowl first. Mukesh Choudhary gave CSK a fabulous start as he dismissed Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan in the first over itself. After that, CSK nearly got the wicket of Dewald Brevis.

During the last ball of the second over, Dewald Brevis tried to hit the ball for a six but he failed to time the ball well. Brevis attempted for the slog sweep but the ball gripped and turns away.
