The Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has given fans a glimpse of his return to the nets as he gears up for the upcoming 3rd Test against England. The cricketer, who missed the second Test due to a hamstring injury, seems to be in good form as he shared a picture of himself batting in India’s practice kit. “Looking good in this attire,” Jadeja expressed in his caption.

Having played in the series opener in Hyderabad, Jadeja showcased his all-round prowess by scoring 82 runs across two innings and taking five wickets. However, India faced an unexpected 28-run defeat in the second Test after squandering a significant lead in the second innings.

Despite the setback, India bounced back in the absence of key players like Ravindra Jadeja, KL Rahul, and Virat Kohli in the second Test. Youngsters such as Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shubman Gill made significant contributions with the bat, while Jasprit Bumrah displayed a stellar bowling performance, leading India to a 106-run victory and leveling the series at 1-1.

As Jadeja looks forward to the upcoming Test in Rajkot, he is on the verge of achieving a rare milestone in Indian cricket history. The all-rounder has the opportunity to join the elite company of Kapil Dev and Ravichandran Ashwin as the only Indian players with 3,000 runs and 250 wickets in Test cricket.

Currently, Jadeja is just 107 runs away from this unique feat and needs 20 more wickets to reach the milestone of 300 Test wickets. While Jadeja is set to make his comeback, India will miss the services of Virat Kohli, who has withdrawn from the remaining Tests due to personal reasons.
