“Rewind to the 90’s”, wrote Jadeja while sharing the post where he can be seen wearing the sweater that had “India” knitted on the front and “ICC WTC Final 2021” on the side as well. Meanwhile, the picture became viral in no time and former India cricketer Wasim Jaffer couldn’t stop him but respond with an iconic Anil Kapoor dialogue.

Notably, Team India reached the final of WTC by winning the Australia series last year and then the home series against England 3-1 in March. They finished at the top of the points table with 520 points whereas New Zealand finished after them with 420 points as well.

However, Ravindra Jadeja returns to the squad for the upcoming WTC final and the five-match Test series against England in August-September. Earlier he was out of the squad as he had sustained a thumb injury during India’s tour of Australia in 2020-21. He was last seen playing for Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League 2021 before the league got suspended due to COVID-19.
