Glenn Phillips pulled off an absolute stunner, plucking the ball out of thin air with his outstretched right hand while being almost parallel to the ground. Despite the sheer momentum, he held onto the catch even after landing, leaving Virat Kohli in sheer disbelief. Kohli stood frozen for a moment before making his way back to the pavilion, still processing what had just happened.

Even in the dressing room, the Indian talisman couldn’t shake off the shock of his dismissal. Sitting beside him, Ravindra Jadeja made sure to tease him, stretching his arms in an exaggerated motion to mimic Phillips’ incredible grab. Kohli, seen casually eating fruit, couldn’t help but smirk as the two engaged in a lighthearted conversation, a moment that quickly went viral on social media.

Kohli’s dismissal for 11 off 14 balls, including two boundaries, put India in a precarious position at 30/3, piling pressure on the middle order. However, Shreyas Iyer and Axar Patel took charge, stabilizing the innings with a crucial 98-run partnership for the fourth wicket. Axar played a valuable knock of 42, ensuring India crossed the 100-run mark without further damage.

Shreyas Iyer, in particular, looked in sublime touch, notching up a composed half-century. With KL Rahul now at the crease, India will look to post a competitive total, hoping to capitalize on the solid foundation laid by Iyer. The duo holds the key to steering India towards a formidable score in this crucial Champions Trophy clash.
