Teammates and coaches tried to persuade him to conclude the session, but Jadeja remained unwavering. The practice session also featured Jasprit Bumrah fine-tuning his skills with an intriguing adjustment to his batting stance.

Crouching lower than usual, Jasprit Bumrah faced throwdowns from batting coach Vikram Rathore, specifically focusing on preparing for deliveries that might keep low on the anticipated slow-turning pitch with uneven bounce.

Meanwhile, the experienced Indian pacer took precautions to avoid injuries in the cold conditions, adopting a short run-up before fully engaging in his bowling routine. The management’s emphasis on a thorough warm-up underlined the significance of preventing injuries.
