Veteran Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja once again demonstrated why he is still a crucial force in world cricket with a spectacular delivery against Pakistan during the current ICC Champions Trophy 2025. Bowling the 37th over, Jadeja picked one on the first ball itself, clean-bowling Khushdil Shah with a gem.

The delivery turned, gripped sharply, and shook the middle stump as Shah misread the line, playing inside the ball and missing the bat entirely. He returned after scoring merely 4 off 6 balls. Ravindra Jadeja’s knock was Pakistan’s third wicket to fall within three overs (34-36), leaving the team in dire straits ahead of the final powerplay. The match has been a rollercoaster with momentum ebbing and flowing constantly between both sides.

Pakistan began well with Babar Azam and Imam-ul-Haq establishing a solid platform, but India fought back with two rapid wickets before the first powerplay was over. Mohammad Rizwan and Saud Shakeel then steadied Pakistan’s innings with a vital 104-run stand, only for the Men in Green to collapse again with a series of dismissals.
