Ravindra Jadeja’s wife Rivaba was extremely disappointed after her husband dropped a catch in the ongoing ICC World Cup 2023 game against New Zealand. The match was evenly poised in the 21st match of the tournament at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamsala.

Ravindra Jadeja, who is rated as one of the best fielders in the world, dropped a regulation catch at backward point. It happened during Mohammed Shami’s over and the batter who was at the receiving end of it was Rachin Ravindra.

Rachin Ravindra punched the ball towards the square. It was a regulation knee-high catch at backward point. Ravindra Jadeja tried to catch it but the ball popped out of the hand. It was a massive moment in the game as India would’ve then had New Zealand under tremendous pressure.

As Ravindra Jadeja dropped the catch, his wife Rivaba, who was present in the stands, looked in absolute dismay. She couldn’t believe that her husband had dropped the catch. The video of her disappointing reaction went viral on the internet.

Coming to the match, after India removed both the openers, New Zealand played magnificently well. Daryl Mitchell and Rachin Ravindra brought the team back into the game and were making sure that they ended up with a big score on the board.

Ravindra Jadeja’s dropped catch came to cost India. Rachin Ravindra made full use of the opportunity given to him as he played magnificently well after that. He punished bowlers and smashed them all over the park.

Rachin Ravindra slammed a terrific half-century in the match and was looking to score big. The Kiwi batter finally perished after scoring 75 runs. He fell to Mohammed Shami, who had earlier picked Will Young as well.
