Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) witnessed a pretty good outing in the IPL in the last couple of seasons as they had qualified into the playoffs regularly but in this year, they had many changes as now Faf Du Plessis has been appointed as the skipper of Bangalore franchise after Virat Kohli stepped down from the position.
Till now RCB has played a couple of games in the league against Punjab Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders where they lost against Punjab Kings in the opening match in a high-targeting game whereas won the match against KKR in the low scoring encounter. Before the commencement of the third match, RCB has been struck with bad news as their player Luvnith Sisodia has been injured, and now due to extreme injury he has been out of the team.

Now the franchise has signed Rajat Patidar as the replacement for Luvnith Sisodia. Rajat Patidar was in the RCB squad during the previous year’s edition and has played 4 matches yet with a score of 71 at a strike rate of 114.52.

Now it will be interesting to see a young player filling the place of another young player and it might bring huge chances for Patidar to enhance more with stalwarts like Virat Kohli, Faf du Plessis and Glenn Maxwell.
