RCB Terms Virat Kohli Batting In Nets As A ‘Visual Therapy’

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) skipper, Virat Kohli is leaving no stone unturned in his preparation ahead of his team’s upcoming game against Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021. On Wednesday, RCB, on its official Twitter handle, shared a photo of Kohli taking guard in the nets.

From the looks of it, it appears that Kohli finds his home at the batting crease and it can be visible in the picture, with his eyes firmly trained on the next ball. The hunger to succeed can be clearly seen on Kohli’s face in the photograph. Captioning the picture on Twitter, RCB wrote: “Visual therapy”.

Soon, RCB fans got excited to see the kipper. The tweet garnered more than 9,000 ‘likes’ and was retweeted over 700 times within hours. In the comment section, one of the RCB fans wrote: “King Kohli! All the best for the next match. Kohli fan & RCB-ian for life.”

Another fan tweeted, “You have all the shots in the book. Except sweep shot.. Please practice then only spinners feel the pressure otherwise they will keep coming at you.”

Earlier in the day, RCB had posted a video from their net session, and captioning it on Twitter, the Bangalore-based franchise wrote: “Bold Diaries: RCB’s practice session at the Wankhede. Back to the grind! The Royal Challengers trained hard for the upcoming match on 22nd April, against Rajasthan Royals in Mumbai.”

After 3 games, RCB are the only unbeaten team in the ongoing season of the cash-rich league and will be eager to continue their winning streak when they will be locking horns with Rajasthan Royals (RR) on Thursday.

It will be RCB’s first game at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai as they have played their first three games at teh MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai against Mumbai Indians (MI), Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).
