2. IPL is likely to be held outside India

According to the present situation, it is the high chance that the IPL 2019 will be held outside India, partly or entirely, due to the general elections. Though the general elections dates haven’t been announced yet, it is likely to be held in April-May 2019 and it will be very tough to organise that tournament in India during that period.

If IPL 2019 shifts outside India, most likely United Arab Emirates (UAE) or South Africa will host that competition. Though IPL is famous worldwide, still it will be a problem to gather on-field crowds regularly at outside India during that tournament.
