In the ongoing first ODI against Australia, Mahendra Singh Dhoni displayed signs of anger while he was batting. Dhoni came in to bat at 4-64 in the 17th over after the fall of Rohit Sharma. In such a situation, his main job would have been to consolidate the Indian innings.
On the second delivery of the 22nd over, Dhoni poked a Marcus Stoinis delivery to extra cover. He called in for a single and was halfway down the pitch when Kedar Jadhav refused to run. Hilton Cartwright, who is making his ODI debut in this match, missed a chance to run Dhoni out. Had he hit the stumps, Dhoni was gone as he not in the frame.
