After taking a record 15 scalps in the ODI series against Sri Lanka, Indian speedster Jasprit Bumrah was named as Man of the Series for his brilliant bowling. He created the record of taking most no. of wickets by any bowler in a bilateral ODI series in Sri Lanka.

Bumrah had managed two 4+ wicket hauls in this series and become the only Indian pacer with multiple 4+ wickets hauls in his career. He finished the series on a high with yet another solid performance of 2 for and named the man-of-the series.
After his clinical performance, the possibility of Bumrah playing Tests has surely gone up. He was rested from the Windies tour and it seems that the rejuvenated Jasprit has come-up with all guns blazing.
