Delhi Capitals (DC), under the captaincy of Shreyas Iyer, have been a force to reckon with this year. With a whopping seven victories in nine league clashes, they comfortably leading the points table. However, their hard-hitting wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant also suffered a grade 1 hamstring strain and has been missing games consistently. Pant suffered the injury during the match against Rajasthan Royals (RR) and it doesn’t look pretty serious as of now.
The Delhi management had conveyed the same to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). Furthermore, Rishabh Pant’s exclusion has made Shimron Hetmyer sit out. as well. Despite being injury-marred, the Capitals have been enjoying a calm dug-out. While DC was chasing the target of 180 runs posted against CSK on Saturday, the head coach Ricky Ponting was interacting with the commentators.

The funny thing about this incident was Rishabh Pant, who was standing behind Ponting, was mimicking the hand and mouth moments of the head coach. Ricky realized that Pant was standing behind him when the commentator pointed out the same.
While the coach was involved in giving the interview, Marcus Stoinis had also decided to have some entertainment as he video-bombed the interview with a grin. Meanwhile, taking a funny dig at the whole episode, Ponting posted a picture of Pant and Stoinis disturbing him on his official Twitter handle.
