Pant is currently busy in England to play the tri-series between India A, Windies A and England Lions. India A has reached in the final of the series and they will meet against England Lions at the final on Monday (July 2) at Kennington Oval (London).
While India A has dominated in the tri-series as they finished on top of the points table with 6 points by winning three matches, Pant has made only one half-century as he scored 64 in their opening game against England Lions at Derby. In fact, it is his only 20+ innings in this series as he scored 18*, 7 and 5 in next three games.
Pant is one of growing youngsters in present Indian cricket. He has already made his international debut through T20I cricket. Making an international cricket debut against England in a T20I game at Bengaluru on February 1, 2017, Pant has already played four T20Is where he has scored 73 runs with the average of 24.33. His highest knock is 38 against West Indies at Kingston on July 9, 2017.
