A couple of days ago, Bonnie Paine, wife of the Australian skipper Tim Paine, posted a picture on her Instagram story along with the Indian wicket wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant carrying their children. Moreover, he captioned the picture and wrote, ‘best babysitter’. The whole incident rolls back to the time when Paine termed Pant a ‘babysitter’ during the first innings of the Melbourne Test.

During the post-day press conference, Pant said, “Everyone’s family were really nice. We met most of the people during the function at the prime minister’s house. It was lovely meeting them. I don’t think I have to change myself for something like that. The only thing is they put the photo on Instagram and it went viral.”

Paine also commented about the picture and heaped praises on Pant, saying that he is a good sport on the field and such banters are pretty light-hearted. Moreover, Paine said that he would’ve wished to play like the 21-year-old Pant when he was of his age. After Paine called him a ‘babysitter’, Pant didn’t throw in the towel and he had a witty reply in store.

When the Australian keeper came to bat in the fourth innings, Pant called him a ‘temporary captain’. India is currently leading the four-match series 2-1 with the fourth and final Test currently underway at the renowned Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) where the visitors are in a strong position after the first innings. India won at Adelaide and Melbourne while the Aussies won the Perth Test.
