Rishabh Pant Graces His Presence At Delhi Capitals’ First Home Game

The first match of Delhi Capitals (DC) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 was with Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). The regular skipper of the team, Rishabh Pant had become a victim of a car accident last year. Due to this incident, he has been ruled out of the entire season and David Warner is captaining Delhi. Meanwhile, great news has come to the fore for the fans of Rishabh Pant as he graced his presence during DC”s first home game against Gujarat Titans (GT).

Ahead of their first home match against the Gujarat Titans, the DC players wished teammate Rishabh Pant a speedy recovery. Pant had a horrific accident last year which ruled him out of this year’s Indian Premier League and he is taking baby steps toward getting fully fit.

In the video shared on social media, Prithvi Shaw said, “I hope you are recovering well. Dekh raha hu tere videos ab dhire dhire chal raha hai (I have seen your videos you’re slowly being able to walk). Baby steps are coming now. Really happy to see how you are recovering.”

While, Axar Patel said, “We will be playing back in Delhi after 3-4 years. We will be missing you. I can see how well you are recovering. You are doing recovery pool for half an hour, so that’s a big thing.”

Rovman Powell said, “I hope you recover well. I know you are supporting us and we will try to win it for you brother.”

Kuldeep Yadav, Kamlesh Nagarkoti, and others were also seen in the video shared by the official Twitter handle of the Capitals. A few days ago, Rishabh Pant had a special message for Delhi before they played their opening IPL match against the Lucknow Super Giants.

Rishabh Pant, who is recuperating after suffering a horrific accident last year, wrote “I am 13 th player coz of impact rule otherwise would have been 12 th man,” under a Twitter post where the Delhi Capitals asked their fans to predict their starting lineup against LSG.
