The young Indian wicket-keeper batsman, Rishabh Pant has been known for his audacious shots and he gave the best example of the same during the first T20I of the five-match series against England at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. He has continued his brilliant run from the Test to the shortest format of the game.
Sent ahead of Shreyas Iyer at No.4, Pant released the pressure hitting a ramp shot off Jofra Archer, who has been looking in great rhythm so far just like he did against James Anderson in the fourth Test. Meanwhile, Anderson will be a relieved man now.
If that shot in the Test match off James Anderson was a mind-boggling one, this one was simply incredible. Rishabh Pant premeditates the shot, wanted to throw Jofra Archer off his length, and hits it all the way over the third man fielder as everyone kept looking at it. It was a sensational shot from Pant and the English fast bowler was in utter disbelief as he walked back to his bowling run-up.
