The controversy between Indian wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant and Bollywood actress Urvashi Rautela has taken another turn as Rishabh Pant shared a cryptic post after the actress shared a post about him.
However, Pant reshared a post from a page that reads: “Don’t stress over what you cannot control.” It looks like Rishabh Pant does not want to think much about the new controversy between the cricketing world and Bollywood. However, he will soon leave for the Asia Cup 2022 which will start on August 27, while India’s first game is on August 28 as well.
Meanwhile, it started after an interview with her in Bollywood Hungama. There she recalled an old incident where a person waited for a long time to meet her as well. While she didn’t take the name whom she referred to as ‘RP’, fans were quick to guess and went berserk on social media.

She was quoted as saying in the interview: “I was shooting in New Delhi and I arrived at night. Quickly I had to get ready because actresses need more time to get ready. So, Mr RP came to the hotel lobby and wanted to meet. Ten hours passed and I fell asleep. I couldn’t attend any calls and when I woke up I saw 16-17 missed calls and I felt so bad that someone was waiting for me and I couldn’t meet them. I told him we’ll meet when you come to Mumbai. We met in Mumbai but a huge drama happened with the paps and all.”
Soon after that, Rishabh Pant also shared an Instagram post but after some time he deleted that. He wrote: “It’s funny how people lie in interviews just for some meager popularity and for hitting headlines. Sad how some people are so thirsty for fame and name. May God bless them. #merapichachorhoBehen #jhutkibhilimithotihai.”

However, after seeing this, she also took a dig at Pant, referring to him as “chotu bhaiyaa” (small brother) through a post on her social media as well. She wrote: “Chotu bhaiyaa should play bat ball 🏏. Main koyi munni nahi hoon badnam hone with young kiddo darling tere liyee. (Small brother should play bat ball. I am not a Munni to be infamous for a young kiddo darling).” She has also used the hashtags #Rakshabandhan Mubarak ho #RPChotuBhaiyya #Cougarhunter #donttakeadvantageofasilentgirl #love #UrvashiRautela.
However, this is not the first time they made headlines on social media as back in 2018, there were rumours that Rishabh Pant and Rautela were dating after they were photographed together on several occasions. But, later, media reports claimed that they decided to part ways mutually as well.
