The young Indian southpaw Rishabh Pant is one of the most emerging cricketers in India. In a period of 12 months or so, he has been scoring runs consistently at every level and making headlines for all the right reasons. Indian cricket fans and cricket savants have already been expecting that he is the next big thing in Indian cricket.

Pant has impressed to one and all by his ruthless batting across all the formats of the game. He backs his strengths and plays his natural game even when the chips are down. In the ongoing 10th season of Indian Premier League (IPL), Pant has played some memorable innings for Delhi Daredevils. Recently, in the match against The Gujarat Lions, Pant played a blistering match-winning knock of 97 runs and earned praised from everybody, including the great Sachin Tendulkar, who rated his innings as one of the best in the history of Indian Premier League.

Pant used to travel from Roorkee and travel 5 hours to practice.

Rishabh started playing cricket at a very young age, as his father dream was to watch him play for India. Unfortunately, just before the opening game of DD in the ongoing IPL 2017, he lost his father Rajendra Pant, who didn’t able to sustain a cardiac arrest and passed away in his sleep.
