Ravichandran Ashwin is a very reluctant bowler when it comes to taking DRS. Be it in international cricket or IPL, he never shies in taking the decision upstairs. And one can imagine when he is bowling himself. Recently, Ashwin was seen convincing Virat Kohli during the England series to take the DRS, however, a lot of them couldn’t change the fortune for his team.
Meanwhile, Ashwin was seen crying for DRS during Delhi Capitals’ game against Mumbai Indians in Chennai. He struck Rohit Sharma on pads in his first over and instantly went up in appeal, which, umpire turned down. He, then quickly went up to his skipper Rishabh Pant, who had a good look of it from behind the wickets. Despite Ashwin’s optimism, Pant remained unmoved and turned his call for review down.

Poor Ash couldn’t do much and went back to his bowling stride. However, this call by Pant eventually saved his team’s lone review. Twitterati reacted to the incident very quickly.

Two brilliant calls by Pant behind stumps to not to take DRS, excellent considering one was Ashwin.

What Ashwin didn’t get a review? Pant is harder to convince than Kohli.😂😂

Amit Mishra was the pick of the bowler with four wickets in his four overs while conceding just 24 runs. Delhi Capitals have a target of 138 runs in front of them.
