The babysitting banter between Australian wicket-keeper Tim Paine and his Indian counterpart Rishabh Pant has now reached to another level. The Test series between Australia and India ended long ago but a few of the stump mic comments are still fresh for the fans. Star Sports, the official broadcaster of the Australia tour of India, has just used the same punt to promote the upcoming T20I and ODI series.

In the promo, the former Indian opener Virender Sehwag could be seen babysitting the Australian kids in which he recalls how the Aussies had asked the visitors to babysit their kids. The promo has gone viral like anything and is being liked by the fans as well. The tour will commence with the two T20Is on February 24 and 28 after which five ODI matches will be played starting from March 3.

Meanwhile, the promo had the former Australian cricketer Matthew Hayden fired up as well. He warned India and Sehwag to not take the Men in Yellow lightly.

Rishabh Pant, who played a crucial role in the babysitting banter, has now reacted to Sehwag’s promo and has hilariously termed him as an inspiration. Sehwag is one of the idols for Pant and the young wicketkeeper-batsman funnily tweeted saying that the Viru always teaches him how to be better at cricket and now has also done the same in babysitting.

Pat’s tweet read: “Viru paaji showing me how to be better at cricket and babysitting — an inspiration always! @StarSportsIndia @virendersehwag,”.

Rishabh Pant though isn’t certain still if he will be playing in the ODI series. This contest marks the end of One-Day Internationals for the Men in Blue ahead of the World Cup. They will be busy in playing the Indian Premier League from March 23. It remains to be seen if Pant is given one final chance to prove his mettle.
