Rishabh Pant, the dynamic wicketkeeper-batter, has received the green light from the BCCI to return to the field after undergoing a rigorous rehabilitation process following a harrowing car accident in December 2022. A recent video circulating on social media platform X showcases Pant’s explosive prowess, as he effortlessly dispatches a full-length delivery for a towering six during a training session at the Delhi Capitals’ pre-season camp.
The announcement of Pant’s participation in the upcoming IPL season, both as a wicketkeeper and a batter, has brought a wave of optimism among cricket enthusiasts. Speculations were rife regarding Pant’s role and his ability to cope with the demands of the game after his recovery.

Reflecting on his challenging period away from the game, Pant revealed his determination to stay positive and focused.
“I was sad because I was going through a very good time. But I had to ensure I didn’t pity myself. That’s how I was keeping myself sane. I don’t want to think that I am taking a fresh guard or I am making my debut all over again or I just had a break. I just want to feel how it is to be on the ground again. I need that feeling from within that I am just continuing with my career,” RIshabh Pant shared with The Times of India.
