During a recent practice session, Pant was seen actively engaging with his new teammates, discussing strategies and team dynamics. He emphasized the importance of creating an environment where players feel free to express themselves without fear. With the backing of the LSG management, Pant is determined to build a culture that fosters confidence and allows players to perform at their best.

“We want to create a place where everyone can express themselves freely. It’s easy to say but tough to implement because it requires effort from each and every individual. It’s not just about the management; it’s the players who shape the team culture,” Rishabh Pant stated in a video shared by LSG on X (formerly Twitter).

Recognizing the wealth of experience in the squad, Pant urged senior players like Nicholas Pooran, Aiden Markram, and David Miller to share their insights with younger teammates. He believes that constant knowledge-sharing will strengthen the squad and enhance overall performance.

“There’s a lot of experience in this group. The management brings in valuable insights, and we have senior players like Nikky P (Pooran), Markram, and Miller. I encourage everyone to keep sharing their experiences with the younger guys so that knowledge flows seamlessly within the team,” he added.

Pant also stressed the need for unwavering support within the squad, believing that trust is the key to unlocking a player’s full potential.

“We can learn a lot from our senior players and grow together. The most important thing is to give your 100% every single day, knowing that the team will back you no matter what,” he explained. Before concluding, the 27-year-old struck a lighthearted note. “Let’s create an atmosphere of love and camaraderie. When we leave this tournament, we should aim to improve not just as cricketers but as individuals. And, of course, let’s have fun along the way.”

Pant, the most expensive player at the IPL 2025 mega auction, was signed by LSG for a record-breaking ₹27 crore. The southpaw, who has amassed 3,284 runs in 110 IPL matches at an average of over 35, will face his former team, Delhi Capitals, in LSG’s opening match on March 24.
